Je was married to Ann Collins, and they had a son named Martin Lenehan, who was baptized at St. Nicholas Collegiate Church in 1868. They emigrated to the United States in June of 1883, supposedly on the Uss Scandinavia, and eventually settled in St. Louis, where they were both employed as shoemakers.?
