Travel Terms and Conditions



Please ensure that you read these terms and conditions carefully. In these terms and conditions, “we”, “Ireland 101” or “us” refers to us, and “you” or “the client” refers to the individual who confirms the itinerary and makes payment to us.

Postponements will be handled on a case-by-case basis Payment:

The costs and charges outlined in our proposal remain valid for a maximum period of 14 days. If your programme is not finalised within that period, we may need to vary the costs and charges. The price is as specified in the current proposal.

The price must be paid as follows:

An advance payment must be received to confirm the booking. If the total price of your itinerary is less than €5,000.00 (or equivalent in USD) then the advance payment shall be 100% of the price.

If the total price of your itinerary is more than €5,000.00 (or equivalent in USD) then the advance payment shall be an amount equal to the percentage of the total cost specified on the invoice of 40%. We must receive the remaining balance (60% of total costs) no later than two calendar months before the beginning of the itinerary or programme. The payment should be made International Money Transfer to Ireland Bespoke. All payments must be made in the agreed currency at time of booking confirmation.

All bank charges relating to our receiving the payment must be pre-paid by you.

Prices and arrangements:

Your booking is confirmed once we have received the advance payment outlined above.

Once a programme is finalised and an advance payment has been received, we may not be able to make any changes to it. Any significant or material changes that we may agree to may result in additional costs, charges and fees.

Cancellation:

We may need to cancel some or all of the services to be supplied to you:

In the event of force majeure as described below [in which case we will refund any payments made by you]; and/or

If you do not pay us the price in accordance with the terms set out above; and/or if you otherwise do not comply with these terms and conditions in any material way.

Once your itinerary is confirmed, we make commitments to third parties and we cannot always refund or cancel any amounts payable by you if you choose to cancel all or any part of the programme. In such circumstances:

  • There will be a 40% cancellation charge (including VAT) if the entire programme or any experiences on it are cancelled more than two calendar months before the beginning of the programme.
  • If the programme, or any part of it, or any places on it, are cancelled before one calendar month prior to the beginning of the programme, the cancellation charge is 50% percent of the total amount.
  • If the programme, or any part of it, or any places on it, are cancelled less than one calendar month before the first day of the programme, the charge is 100%. Any cancellation by you will be treated as occurring on the date on which we receive written notice from you of any such cancellation. Ireland 101 reserves the right to change the rates and any programme content due to circumstances beyond our control, whilst also reserving the right to substitute a facility of an equivalent, or higher, category, where

Force Majeure:

Ireland Bespoke is not liable for any events beyond its reasonable control, including, without limitation, acts of God, fire, weather, acts of governments or other authorities, wars, civil disturbances, riots, terrorist acts, strikes, thefts, pilferage, epidemics, quarantines, dangers incident to sea, land and air travel, other natural disasters or failures of public or private telecommunications networks.

Problems with the services

As a consumer, you have legal rights in relation to services not carried out with reasonable care and skill. Nothing in these terms and conditions will affect these legal rights. In the unlikely event that there is any problem with our services: please contact us and tell us as soon as reasonably possible; and please give us a reasonable opportunity to fix any problem.

Our liability to you

If we fail to comply with these terms and conditions, we are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our breach of these terms and conditions or our negligence, but we are not responsible for any loss or damage that is not foreseeable. Loss or damage is foreseeable if they were an obvious consequence of our breach or if they were contemplated by you and us at the time, we concluded these terms and conditions.

We only supply the services to you for your personal and private use. We have no liability to you for any loss of profit, loss of business, business interruption, or loss of business opportunity.

Your personal information

We will use the personal information you provide to us to: provide the services; process your payment for such services; and inform you about similar products or services that we provide, but you may stop receiving these at any time by contacting us. We will not give your personal data to any other third party.

Other terms

We may transfer our rights and obligations under these terms and conditions to another organisation, and we will always notify you in writing if this happens, but this will not affect your rights or our obligations under these terms and conditions.

You may only transfer your rights or your obligations under these terms and conditions to another person if we agree in writing. This contract is between you and us. No other person shall have any rights to enforce any of its terms and conditions.

Each of the paragraphs of these terms and conditions operates separately. If any court or relevant authority decides that any of them are unlawful, the remaining paragraphs will remain in full force and effect.

If we fail to insist that you perform any of your obligations under these terms and conditions, or if we do not enforce our rights against you, or if we delay in doing so, that will not mean that we have waived our rights against you and will not mean that you do not have to comply with those obligations. If we do waive a default by you, we will only do so in writing, and that will not mean that we will automatically waive any later default by you.

We recommend that all our clients take out travel insurance that includes cancellation, lost property and medical protection.
